A Fresh Rotation In 3 Simple Steps
Step 01: Choose Your Membership
Pick the rotation plan that works best for your family and schedule your first Wednesday swap.
Step 02: Set Out Toys Your Kids Are Done With
Gather toys your kids have outgrown or become bored with, whether they’re from your home collection or previously received through FlipJoy.
Then, place them outside by 8am on your scheduled swap day.
Step 03: Enjoy A Fresh Set Of Curated Toys
Receive a thoughtfully selected rotation of clean, quality-checked toys designed for your child’s age and stage.
Step 01: Join FlipJoy
Choose a single swap when you need a quick refresh, or pick a plan for ongoing swaps throughout the year. Each swap includes cleaned, sanitized, quality-checked toys delivered right to your doorstep.
Step 02: Ready to Flip
When you’re ready to schedule your flip, log into your member profile and click “Ready to Flip.” Before your swap, you’ll submit one photo of the toys you plan to send in so we can confirm they meet our quality standards.
Step 03: Flip Confirmation
Our quality control team will review the photo of your toys and will either approve it or request changes. If any changes are needed, we will notify you via email and provide further instruction.

Simple Toy Guidelines
To help keep FlipJoy fun, safe, and high quality for all families, here are a few simple guidelines for toys entering rotation.
Great Fit For FlipJoy
- Toys appropriate for children 6 months through 5 years
- Toys in good condition*
- Toys with all major pieces included
- Toys with a minimum value of approximately $10 each (smaller toys may be grouped together)
- Toys that fit inside a standard FlipJoy bag (1.5 standard kitchen trash bags)
Not Accepted
- Plush or fabric toys
- Used bath or water toys with cavities
- Recalled or broken toys
- Personalized, monogrammed, religious, or holiday-specific items
- Oversized toys that do not fit inside a standard FlipJoy bag

Rules of the Bag
01. Pick Your Toys
Number
Gather 10* toys for kids ages 6 months to 5 years.**
You can send a mix of toys across the 6 months to 5 years range. When you schedule each swap, you will be able to select the specific age range for the toys you would like to receive that best fits your child, regardless of the toys you are sending in.
*One-time swaps: choose 5 to 10 toys.
**To keep every FlipJoy bag high quality, each toy should have an estimated retail value of $10 or higher.

– Easy to clean toys*: no fabric toys, stuffed animals, dolls, or bath toys**.
– All parts must be present for multi-piece toys or sets.
– Any battery-operated components must be in working order.
– Only new/unused arts and crafts supplies and kits are accepted.
– Puzzles, LEGOs, and board games should be in their original box and age-appropriate. Wooden puzzles do not require their original packaging.
– No books, monogramed***, holiday, or religious items.
02. Check Your Toys
Quality
We accept toys rated Good or higher on our quality scale. Toys with inappropriate writing, images, or stickers* are not accepted.
*If there is a sticker that can be safely taken off without damaging the toy, please do so before sending it in and we’d be happy to accept it.
Size
Make sure that your selection of toys fits comfortably in the provided FlipJoy bag. If the toys don’t fit, please select a different combination of toys that can be accommodated within the bag.
