- What is your refund policy for toy rentals?You can cancel your rental and request a full refund up to 48 hours before the start of your scheduled delivery time. If you need to cancel, simply reply to your confirmation email or contact us at rentals@flipjoytoys.com. Once the refund is processed, you can expect to see the funds returned to your original payment method within 5-10 business days, depending on your bank.
- What ages are your toys suitable for?Our toy rentals are designed for children aged 6 months to 5 years. We can provide a bag of toys focused on a single age range or a mix of toys suitable for multiple children across different ages. Just let us know your needs, and we’ll ensure the toys are a great fit.
- Can I customize the toy selection for my rental?Absolutely! When you book your rental, you can provide details such as the number of children, their ages, genders, and interests. We’ll use this information to curate a bag of toys tailored to your needs. If you prefer, you can also leave the selection up to us, and we’ll provide a variety of toys sure to delight any young child. Additionally, if you'd like, we can include books in your rental—just let us know your preference when you book!
- Do you deliver to hotels or vacation rentals?Yes, we can deliver toys directly to hotels or vacation rentals within our service areas of Walnut Creek, Alamo, Danville, San Ramon, and Dublin. If you're staying at a hotel or rental property, please make sure to notify the front desk or property management ahead of time to ensure they’re aware of the delivery. We do not deliver to airports or locations outside our service area. If no one is available at the scheduled delivery or pickup time, additional delivery attempts may incur a fee, or the rental may be canceled without a refund.
- Can I extend my toy rental period, and how does the process work?Yes, you can extend your rental period if needed! Please contact us at least 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time to request an extension. Extensions are subject to availability. Once approved, we will automatically charge the card on file for the additional rental day(s). The extension will be confirmed, and your rental period updated, once the payment has been successfully processed.
- What condition can I expect the rental toys to be in?As a toy swap company, the toys you rent from us may show some signs of wear. However, all toys meet our strict minimum quality requirements and are carefully inspected and sanitized before each rental. If you have any concerns about the condition of the toys you receive, please let us know, and we'll work with you to resolve any issues.
- What happens if a toy is lost or damaged during the rental period?We understand that accidents happen, and toys may experience some wear and tear during playtime. If a toy is lost or damaged, please let us know as soon as possible. We aim to be understanding and will work with you to find a solution. In the event of significant damage or loss, a replacement fee may be charged, based on the assessed value of the toy. This fee will be communicated to you prior to processing.
- Can I make changes to my rental once it is confirmed?Yes, you can reschedule your delivery or pickup date or time, update the drop-off or pick-up location, or change your contact information. To make any changes, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance by emailing rentals@flipjoytoys.com. This will allow us to adjust your rental without incurring additional fees.

Add a ‘FlipJoy Starter Collection’ at signup. You’ll receive 10 toys to begin your first rotation. The toys are yours to keep, rotate, and swap in future FlipJoy rotations.
After signing up, email info@flipjoytoys.com if you’d like to add a Starter Collection to your first rotation.

01. Pick Your Toys
Number
Gather 10* toys for kids ages 6 months to 5 years.**
You can send a mix of toys across the 6 months to 5 years range. When you schedule each swap, you will be able to select the specific age range for the toys you would like to receive that best fits your child, regardless of the toys you are sending in.
*One-time swaps: choose 5 to 10 toys.
**To keep every FlipJoy bag high quality, each toy should have an estimated retail value of $10 or higher.

– Easy to clean toys*: no fabric toys, stuffed animals, dolls, or bath toys**.
– All parts must be present for multi-piece toys or sets.
– Any battery-operated components must be in working order.
– Only new/unused arts and crafts supplies and kits are accepted.
– Puzzles, LEGOs, and board games should be in their original box and age-appropriate. Wooden puzzles do not require their original packaging.
– No books, monogramed***, holiday, or religious items.
02. Check Your Toys
Quality
We accept toys rated Good or higher on our quality scale. Toys with inappropriate writing, images, or stickers* are not accepted.
*If there is a sticker that can be safely taken off without damaging the toy, please do so before sending it in and we’d be happy to accept it.
Size
Make sure that your selection of toys fits comfortably in the provided FlipJoy bag. If the toys don’t fit, please select a different combination of toys that can be accommodated within the bag.
